General Benefits & Information
Go-Sho-Ryu Traditional Karate Association welcomes all styles of martial arts. Our Chief Instructor built and ran a club of 1500 students training each week in 76 classes and coached 156 students to successfully achieve their Black Belt Grades and 47 of those to their 2nd Dan, and 55 to their 1st Dan. Using that experience and knowledge we can offer you a wide range of services which can help you to build a very successful Martial Arts Club.
We offer Insurance, Certification, Licensing, Grading Panels, Grade Recognition, Grade Registration, Governing Body Recognition and all other services required to run a successful martial arts business.
We organise and run courses in Coaching, Instructing, First Aid, Child Protection, Direct Marketing and Business Management for Martial Arts Schools. All these courses are certificated. We also offer regular courses in Traditional Karate, Shotokan, Goju Ryu and can arrange seminars to cover any aspects of Karate and more.
For those Instructors wanting an outside grading panel we can arrange for high grade Black Belts in most styles to assist with your gradings. In addition, we run regular Brown & Black Belt Classes & Gradings in our Dojo's around Yorkshire. These gradings are open to all styles.
Go-Sho-Ryu Traditional Karate Association is a member of, Federation of English Karate Organisations, World Union of Karate-Do Federations and the World Karate Confederation (via FEKO)
